Andy Dylan
Andy Dylan is a Stunt Coordinator and 2nd Unit Director whose career has spanned over 25 years in Los Angeles and most recently in New Orleans. Having worked on some of the biggest films in Hollywood he carved a unique niche for himself by directing, choreographing, filming and editing live action pre-viz for elaborate action sequences.
Andy’s ability to communicate with actors has been crucial in stepping through very difficult sequences. Andy’s career includes over 45 films and shows where he was instrumental to the Directors’ creative process.
His most recent credits include the academy award-nominated film Queen and Slim, and Brian Cranston’s new series, Your Honor, where he was the Stunt Coordinator and 2nd Unit Director.
Andy has truly studied the filmmaking process, from the words on the page to the editorial process. For 25 years he has made a point of being someone that studies the on-set process between all departments. He has worked with some of the most seasoned actors, learning to adapt to the infinite styles and approaches.
Andy’s extensive experience in filming action, paired with his several decades of experience in communicating at a highly creative level, makes Andy not only the right choice for your film, but the local choice, if your project is filming in New Orleans. He has built an extensive network of local talent and has worked extensively with all the local department heads.
